Mitsui Chemicals Asia Pacific (MCAP) – The Asia Pacific Regional HQ for Mitsui Chemicals Group in Singapore will be relocated to a new office in the month of January and is slated to be fully operational by 21 January 2024. The new office, located at Harbourfront Tower One, will be redesigned and fitted with enhanced facilities and amenities to better meet the modern business needs.

Announced back in July 2022, the group of companies in Singapore will adopt Hybrid Work Arrangement (HWA), whereby eligible employees can enter a hybrid work model. With the new office design, Mitsui Chemicals Group in Singapore aims to provide more flexibility to support employees working in the Regional HQ office.
Features of new office
From the observations based on the HWA work style in the current office and hearing the feedbacks from employees, several facilities and amenities will be introduced in the new office. Some of the key features include:
- Enhanced visitor registration to facilitate ease of secured entry.
- Meeting pods for virtual meetings.
- Collaboration area and larger pantry for semi-formal discussions.
- Quiet spaces to create designation spots when employees require more focus time.
- Dedicated modular meeting rooms to create larger meeting spaces when needed.
- Improved sound-proofing for meeting rooms to create more conducive environment.

In addition, all work desks will be fitted with a large monitor with a seamless connection to the employees’ laptops, to further improve the work experience.
