Extension of alternating week arrangement for physical work in Singapore’s Regional Headquarter Premise

Mitsui Chemicals Asia Pacific (MCAP) – Since the start of the COVID-19 outbreak in Singapore, Mitsui Chemicals Group had implemented strict internal measures to ensure that all affiliates in Singapore stay operational to support business partners. 

The Regional Headquarter (RHQ) in Singapore had arranged for employees sited in its premise, to telecommute on alternating week in a coordinated team arrangement since 1 October 2020. This alternating week arrangement will run its course until the end of Fiscal Year 2020, and will be reviewed depending on the pandemic situation and local Government prevailing measures. During the extended alternating week arrangement, employees who are on “physical onsite week” will also have the flexibility to apply to work-from-home (WFH) when they have a specific need.

Strict Safe Management Measures will continue to be in place for all employees working physically onsite in RHQ premise.

All operations and functions will remain operational in Singapore, and will continue to ensure our employees stay safe, so as to serve all our business partners through this challenging times.
