Emphasis on our HR strategy

The Group’s HR strategy is built around a simple belief: the organization performs better when our people are well supported. Our focused HR areas include:

  • Employer branding & talent acquisition
  • Performance & rewards
  • Learning & development
  • HR technologies
  • Workplace health & wellness programmes

The Group regularly reviews our ways-of-working to ensure up-to-date support that balances the needs for our Group and employees. For example, we rolled out the Flexible Work Arrangement Policy since 2022 with the aim to enable better work-life balance without compromising our operational needs. Recognizing that individuals may require mental, emotional, and overall well-being support, we partnered an external health service provider in 2025 to roll out our Employee Assistance Programme, that provides confidential professional counselling services for a variety of personal and work-related issues.

Over the years, the Group had also gradually stepped up on various employer branding strategies such as targeted campus engagement events and social media, with activities that trace back to late 2000s.

Work in harmony with local communities

On the social and environment aspects, the Group also partners local NGOs regularly in organizing annual beach cleaning at local beaches to reinforce the issue of marine plastic waste issues and supports community-led social campaigns such as The Purple Parade to raise awareness internally and externally on topics surrounding the People with Disabilities communities.

(Left) Partnered PLASTIFY for beach cleaning in 2025. (Right) Participated in The Purple Parade 2025.

In addition, glass film by Mitsui Chemicals Group, posica™ kukkiri™ film, were also donated to Jamiyah Nursing Home (JNH) in 2025 to improve the residents’ Quality of View while being indoors, in bid to support JNH to reduce glare that can foster a calmer environment, supporting mental well-being and reinforcing the dignity and care for their elderly residents.

Moving forward, the Group will continue the works in HR and employer branding strategies, as well as the participation to address on social and environment needs in Singapore.
